We believe great design goes beyond aesthetics—it's about bringing ideas to life in a way that feels fresh, meaningful, and inspiring. Here, ideas are explored daily and carefully crafted to tell a story. Your story. Welcome to Onefish. Ready to begin?
In addition to our core offerings, we often collaborate with in-house design teams and agencies. Reach out—let's create something amazing together.

Helping clients craft their identity, whether a new brand or rebrand, is always exciting. Each project tells a unique story shaped by conversation, laughter, and vision—with some even featured in the publication LogoLounge. For us, what truly makes the process special are the people behind the brands. Whether large organizations or individuals just starting out, our goal is simple: to create powerful impact while visually capturing who they are. Are you ready to begin?
BRANDING HIGHLIGHT:
Detroit Sweat is a private fitness studio focused on serious training. Owner Chelsea wanted an identity that was welcoming, personal to her and representative of the city. The studio logo incorporates the Detroit skyline, while the tagline encourages clients to get moving. Visit her website or social to see how she's using her new brand identity.
Gail's love for print and illustration started early, flipping through travel magazines, Highlights Magazine, and National Geographic. Growing up before computers sparked big imaginations. She was always creating—whether building boat models from cardboard, over-designing a science report, or painting a giant portrait for a school play (where she played a loud and boisterous Betty Chumley in Harvey—her first and last acting role for many reasons). If there was something to make, Gail was on it, usually surrounded by a pile of random materials and a very questionable amount of duct tape and glitter.
A graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, Gail's first job was designing pages for children's math books for a publishing company in Florida (which still makes her laugh, because she's terrible at math!). She then spent several years at design agencies thoughout Minneapolis working with clients like Rollerblade, Scimed Life, Medtronic, Subway Kid's Pack, Wildlife Art News Publication and Heinz. A move back to Michigan led her to Traverse City and LindyLazar Marketing, where she spent eight years working with clients such as Four Winns Boats, Wellcraft, ECI, Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, and Honor Bank. Later, she became the Art Director and Feature Designer for Traverse Magazine and Northern Home & Cottage. Throughout her career, Gail has earned awards, but it’s always been the hardworking teams she's been part of that makes her most proud. LogoLounge publication however, still holds a special place in her heart, where she has the honor of having eight logos accepted.
Today, in a small one-room design studio with exactly 11 windows—because 10 is too predictable and 12 is just showing off—meetings are held and ideas are crafted. The creative process is still a balance of thoughtful strategy and boundless imagination, where each design concept is carefully layered and refined. The occasional distractions—a woodpecker taking down the tree outside, a spirited chat with Alice, or a perfectly timed cup of tea—are part of the flow, allowing new ideas to take shape in unexpected ways.
When she's not collaborating on a project, you can still find Gail painting or sketching somewhere, boating with her husband and their petite 90-pound dog, Alice, catching up with their kids over a quick FaceTime, or traveling to places where history is in abundance—and where there always seems to be a rather big hill to climb.
